The soils are sandy in nature, with the presence of rocks, and the climate is continental, characterized by harsh winters and hot, dry summers. The Tinta de Toro grapes come from vines that are \u003cstrong\u003ebetween 50 and 100 years old.\u003c\/strong\u003e The harvest is done manually, and the bunches are rigorously selected to start the winemaking process only with the ripest and healthiest grapes. The grapes are destemmed and subjected to a cold maceration lasting 4 days, before proceeding to fermentation in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 26-28 °C with maceration on the skins for about a week and daily pump-overs.
